4th Reflection

In the latest week, I didn't have any teaching practice...I only watched my friends perform their group teaching in front of the class, they were Gilang and Siwi. I think my friends had their own teaching style and they really did their best.

Gilang had a good instruction skill so that we could understand his instructions well. He also mastered the material. However, the material was quite difficult and the exercise didn't really represent the aim of his topic (procedure text) because the students were focused on the difficult vocabularies. And in the end he was so hurried in explaining the material because of the limited time.

Meanwhile, Siwi was a very interactive and confident teacher. She also had a good questioning skill. However, maybe sometimes the students were not involved in her questions because she tended to give rhetorical questions (she answered her own questions). And sometimes her gestures also looked too polite, maybe because she tried to give her best to the students.


I've learned few things from my friends' performance and the feedback. I think I am motivated to perform better because of seeing my friends' performance. :)
